I think "horrorness" can be measured the same way you measure how hot you want your food - some people like pepper tongue-pinching, while others won't mind having a pure chili fire-breathing bottoms. Yet still, you cannot force peeps who love mild horrors to love hardcore screamer fests.
Too scared? Dont buy it.
Yes, I agree with this. I think you might have misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying it is fine if someone wants to stay in the van (especially if they are new or they have supplied all the gear). It's actually an agreed upon "rule" amongst most players that whoever supplies the gear has "van rights". I have a small community of people who I play (about 16 of us on a discord server) and we all play on private servers together when we want to avoid the toxic manchildren and hackers who unfortunately also play this amazing game.
Annoyed people want to stay in the van? Don't buy it.
Having a 'mission control' fits perfectly with the paranormal investigator aesthetic.
Within 30 seconds we had two pieces of evidence and more activity than I've seen in 10 minutes at some locations.
this.
Yea that makes sense.
It's just boring at that point because then leaves me to do ALL of the work by myself and be at risk. Don't even get to see him scared. So if I die. I don't have to replace anything he supplies ALL of the equipment. So there is litte to lose from either side. He is always safe so he never risks losing anything and if I die which is pretty rare then I have nothing to lose anyway. I think the van guy needs some danger at least for us inside the buildings amusement.
One easy solution: Find someone else to play with, let him play with people who don't mind that sort of game style. :)
Find someone else to play with then. You sound like you're probably a fairly bossy and rude person to play with. Find other bossy/rude people to play with.
I use the van to feel safe, and get my head straight, so I think van's safety should not be touched.
When you're in the van - you're literally doing nothing, and preventing any progress on the ghost case, so the damage to teamplay is already enough for teammates to become angry at you.
No, only the other way works. People just wanna stay all the time in the van? Get out of here an buy other games. This game is about ghost identify, "exploring" etc and not to stay in the van. NOBODY needs to stay in the van. Me an my friends clear all maps in 5-10 minutes without the van.
I mean, all people who stay in the van are to scared. Only because of that this people stay on the van, even when this people will say "im not scared".
I really hope we will get some updates that van boy will die in the game because of ghost attacks. Only then you can play the game correctly without only private lobbys.
