For GNU+Linux, you shall target SteamOS first. What libraries/engine the game is runing on? Thank you for considering Linux.

I believe SteamOS would work out. We need to file all issues first and start implementing new features and after all we can start testing for Linux. That would be awesome if you can stay with the community and take part in a future test.

Thank you guys for these great suggestions. I believe that we will enable a test patch in the coming weeks for Linux and I will post more news to this post when it happens!

I have Manjaro, and plan to make room for Ubuntu Mate in the future if you are still looking for help.

@simgamedev I was highly active for Project Highrise (http://steamcommunity.com/app/423580/discussions/1/) getting them going early on. I have a ton of hardware and a good amount of technical skill. Please contact me if you are interested (I will buy the game to help with testing)... love the idea

This is on my "wish" list now... It looks like a great game and if it comes to Linux-based operating systems, I'm happy to throw some money at you!

:-)
