About the whole "support the devs" thing
Gonna be that guy again due to how Code Vein's forums are looking and I'd like to think that through an organized mass purchase, we can prevent the game from having a day one review situation similar to Ace Combat 7 (which in turn, should've been a wakeup call to say "Support the creators of Tales even when they aren't making a Tales game").

So, are we going to support the developers because they're supporting us when we least deserve it?

You mean that day when the Ace Combat 7 team failed to provide hotas support for an arcade flight game, after they announced hotas support. Then proceeded to patch in support for 1 set of sticks which they then announced (after the release day) were going to be the only supported sticks and they were over priced Branded sticks..... Yes NOW AC7 supports some more sticks (still no where near whats expected on pc) but those intial reviews were there because features that were supposed to be there were not. Thats how reviews work.

I fail to see why we need to excuse such behavior? If bandai namco decided to stop selling games on PC because one game didn't sell well because it wasn't a good port then they as a business are likely to go out of buisness as there are plenty of Japanese Companies that have no problems porting games correctly to pc.

Capcom, Square Enix, Sega seem to have no issue releasing games on steam and offering the features and quality that pc gamers expect.

I dunno about you, but I feel like Ace Combat 7 was actually a better port than SoulCalibur VI.

-Probably the best singleplayer game of its genre for years to come: Check
-A lot of detail packed into the game and manages to look amazing despite the game's 60FPS target on current gen consoles: Check
-Not needing all that powerful of a PC to run: Check

I really don't know if the complaints about HOTAS support are really worth overlooking everything Ace Combat 7 did right to be honest. In fact, I think Bandai Namco Studios Inc. would have been in the right to only release Code Vein and Tales of Arise on the PS4 and Xbox One. The fact that we got PC versions of those games anyways probably says "Some gratitude is owed"
The only thing I wanted from Bamco was a PS3 English Vesperia port. Now that I have that I've gotten all I want from them.
