Alternative Endings - Spoilers
Overall I like the game so far; the political bias aside.

My one question however is: in Papers Please there were multiple endings. Is this the same here?

For example, in the first act I missed handing over the disco medal to help the terrorist not get caught. Are there later opportunities? Not sure I'd want to help a bombmaker that targets bars and clubs anyway, so hopefully you're not shoe-horned down that path as the main story line.

Just beat the game. There are at least 2 distinct endings. That being said, I personally find them a bit disappointing.

Hey Kaveski! There are indeed multiple endings, including throughout the game that can cut your game short. The "best" ending gives you a little bit extra, with an extra special level to complete :)

But why it doesn't matter if you don't give the VIP Pass to the right person?

In the last level I gave the VIP Pass to the right person the first time, second time I let her in without the pass, third time I denied her entry. All the endings were the same: trial, Jupp Security charged for owning european furniture, end credits with the developers

The great thing about Papers Please was the consequences of your actions and 20 different endings. Here, 3 different events gave the same ending. This game seems like an uverpriced Papers Please with no repliability.

Thanks - I've decided to get a refund and instead get my fix from playing Papers, Please instead.

For the first few hours I could live with the political nonsense but it just gets in the way of enjoyability.

I'm not judging you for saying that but damn, saying you refunded the game while the developer replied to you on this thread feels harsh even for me....and I'm not even a developer

I know this thread is old af but it just really tickles me that this guy holds Papers Please up as an example of a non-political game. Some people really are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blind unless stuff is spelled out huh.

Yeah because a game focusing on a fictional country based loosely around the USSR / eastern bloc is exactly the same as a game based on a non-fictional country following the aftermath of a 2016 poll.

"Not Tonight takes place primarily in England, which increasingly falls under the control of the nativist Albion First party and Prime Minister Simon Tavener. Taking advantage of social upheaval following a post-Brexit economic crisis, the British government has stripped citizenship from all Britons found to have ancestors from EU countries, relocating them to slum-like housing blocks in preparation for mass deportations."

Really tickles me that people really like drawing false comparisons to suit their own superiority :-)

Oh, so you admit it? They're both based on the aftermath real life political events and so exactly as political as one another. Glad we're in agreement, chud.
