Force Exit and Extremely Slow Game Play

Does anyone know why my game is going so slow that it takes 5 minutes to finish a day? or why after 3 hours of playing it, about 36 days, it just randomly stops?

Game running for a while, then freezing or random stop and close.. Check

Game not in sync with other players on multiplayer, such as different border lines, military units, economic and other stats.. Check

The game speed is due to a de-stacking bug where units land on small islands close to an enemy, and the unit's continuosly try to emark/disembark. This drags the game speed down. This is supposed to be fixed in the 7.3 update. But when that gets released is anyones guess.

You can download a test patch that is close to the 7.3 update, but us mere Steam users can't use it because of Steam games requiring Steam to fiddle with the .exe files. :(

There a pre-release for 7.3 already which I believe works on solving some of the destacking problems, along with other issues. It is located on the BG forums, *hint hint*.
