It looks like a game about planning and building transportation for your city. Is it worth 4.99? Probably if you respect the meta critic rating, it received a 70. Personally, I don't own the game but I am not going to purchase it because, as stated, it appears to be more of building infrastructure for your cities transportation type of game. I am more into Sim City type of games when it comes to city building.

If you are going to purchase the game, you might as well get the collection for 12.49 and get all the DLC! Go all the way and master the entire world's transportation infrastructure! Good Luck!

well, my first thought about it, it got ♥♥♥♥ ton of dlcs, which makes the majority of the content as far as i understood sto its gonna be 12.50$ rather than a 5$ game.. i dont think i will buy it..

There is a demo on their website. Check it out.

I think Sim City will be more my game too. So I'd rather wait for the 2013 Sim City reboot.

Unfortunately, the new SimCity isn't made by the creator of the IP, Will Wright (left Maxis in 2009). I have lost respect for the current EA-Maxis collaboration.

However, that is not an endorsement for this game. Right now we find ourselves with no worthy successor to Simcity 4 (which Wright did make) and nothing on the horizon either.

Well I have played it for 26 hours so far and haven't bought any DLC so there is still a lot of value. I like the game though
I like it, got it as a gift way back when it was on sale last time as a daily deal. It is mostly strategy and involes basic critical thinking when it comes to placing stops and stations to get customers where they need to go, Probably the best thing i've learned from the game is that not everyone will be happy, but you can still try. I am seriously considering getting all the DLCs before the sale is over.

In regards to the question at hand; yes, honestly i think the original 19.99 is a decent price for it even. The way the game looks and operates you can tell there was a great deal of time put into it. so i'd say it's a sweet deal.

on an end note, the game is not about building the city or changing anything about the city itself, but rather it's about changing how the city operates as a community that makes the game what it is. It all about transportation (Trains, busses and subways those things).

As with most strategy games, it requires a lot of planning and thinking, so be prepared to think. If you don't like this type of game, don't buy, as my friend (who is not into strategy games) found it boring, while I found it quite exciting. Its better to buy the collection as you get more maps to play on, so kinda increases the replay value. However, the normal game has enough maps to keep you occupied for hours.

I just played the demo. I highly recommend you play the demo first. I tried out the demo didnt really enjoy it. I tried to build a tram and got lost with trying to make the stops. The game refused to make the stops. Game seems a little dry for my taste also the esc button should disable whatever your on instead it takes you to a menu for options and such. Ugh. Dont really dig on the menus or the micro manage aspect of it. If your into micro management, every stop inside a city then this is your game. Graphics are nice just the gameplay doesnt hook me like a sim city builder should. Pass.

I bought this game by full prise and not been disappointed. Its worth bying by 4.99$. (Surelly if you love strategic games).

Is it anything like Transport Tycoon? Because I used to love that game.
Also, what do they mean in the trailer by "7 social groups" ?

I just bought the daily deal, and it's well worth the money, very well made game. ( would probably even pay full price now that I know how good it is )

cmon people 12.49 for the game and ALL its DLC. This game IS NOT to be compaired to Sim City™ or CitiesXL 2012™. This is a "Transportation Sim" that takes, at most a small page out of both games and merely amplifies its point. Creating for us yet, another sim game. You dealing with the preverbial "apples to oranges" theroy. Therefore comparisons are not worthy. Your getting roughly 35-40$ worth of game and content for 12.49!

for me, its a no brainer.
where do I sign up!
