A Complete Collection

Are their 34 different vehicles in the game? Anybody have "A Complete Collection - Own one of each vehicle available in the game" achievement?

i got it on the tokyo campaign, had to have 85% coverage so was easy to do with well over 200 lines in total

indeed i do have this achivement and may be able to help.

the vehicles are split out across each of the diforent modes of transport but obviously there are more in one mode of transport than anouther mode.

additionaly add on vehicles might count though i would try and get this with the origional ones instead

try the following:
1. start a sanbox mode and give yourself as much cash and banks as posable. also set the map to the latest year posable
2. buy all the vehicles that are in the base game. for some modes of transport you will need to make some mini routes and send them off in that to make room for the rest. dont wory the ones you send of will cound. you will maby need to borrow money from the bank as well.

additionaly to tell if the vehicle is origional look at the icon for it. if it is slightly blury then its an origional.

Sorry for the necro but.... I just tried buying the 34 vehicles across 5 or 6 unlocked scenarios. I checked off each vehicle against a list I have of each one in the base game.

It didnt unlock. Whats more the inggame counter for this achievement is stuck on 15/34. I know I have purchased more than 15 different vehicles and I have no DLCs.

Anyone been through this?

Anyone actually get the achievement by buying all the vehicles only through the campaign?

Well I bought everything on the list and it shows me 33/34. Seems broken. Too bad, it was the last achievement for me. Maybe the vehicles need to be assigned to lines?

Theres a mod on a website (cimexchange) that gives you a large number of vehicles. I had to use this to get all of them to register and even then it was a struggle. (As in my review.)

Vehicle redone mod I think.

It essentially unpacks all the exisiting content into individual files. I suspect the problem with the incorrect count registering (or lack thereof) was because of the packed files. Its only a guess though. But I got the achievement with this mod so.....

Thank you SO much! The mod really worked, and all I had to do is delete it back after I took the in-game trophy. And steam had it count at last! Now the Cities, both Skylines and In Motion, are done! Awesome.

You need to accomplish this task by doing one sandbox map from 1940, because I was stuck like you, this is the only way that I found it worked :D

No problem, I had to run that sandbox mode until 2004 year, or something like that, you can start it in custom mode with a lot of money :D
