Low fps on new gaming computer
-fps: 10 fps in game
-In the game menu, you can even notice "computer lag"
-Lowering graphics does not help (everything to minimum, including resolution)
-It is not my internet connection (even offline playing against bots, same issues)
-online I get an average of 10 ms
-the lag is that bad that it is impossible to play the game....

My computer specs:
-AMD FX 8150 Eight core processor (3.60 Ghz)
-64 bit OS win 7
-Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series
-Hard drive for cs go: SSD 112 GB
-Monitor: BENQ XL2420T (120 fps gaming monitor)

All my drivers are up to date. I have more than 10 GB free space on my SSD drive. Tried with antivirus/firewall off to play cs go, no solution.

(FYI: A friend of mine, with the identical computer setup, experiences same lag and glitch issues while playing cs go)

Can someone PLEASE help me !! I cannot find any information on this issue with google. Or does someone experience the same issues?

Thanks in advance!

Is there any beta driver for your graphic card you can try ? I remember this helped me with Guildwars 2 (nvidia graphic card though).

Also I hear disabling Multicore Rendering helps some people with crashes.

You shouldnt rejoice.
I think that with your computer's characteristics fps must be much higher, beacause I have almost the same fps as you have, mb a little less, but my PC is weaker than yours (Phenom X4 2.2Ghz, 4GB DDR2 and GeForce GTX 560Ti)
I do not want to upset you but think about it.

btw few days ago I tested at CSGO almost the same PC as yours, and had the same fps as you had. Something abnormal with game performance. I am very disappointed of that problem, and I hope that VALVE will fixed it.

I still cant rejoice, because I limited my fps to 120 fps. My monitor goes up to 120 fps, so it hasn't any advantage to go higher. And yes I CAN go to like 300 fps or more....
Lexvia 2 okt, 2012 @ 11:59
A lot of performance complaints after this last update
@DeMaarten just because your eyes cant see the 300 fps your pc wil still see them... more fps = better dont limit them to refresh rate, if you want to limit them to your highest ave thats fine but not cut your prossing power in half
DeMaarten 3 okt, 2012 @ 12:31
Ok thanks !

Well it's still better to limit its FPS since I (and a lot of people) have noticed some frequent FPS drops (like from 299 to 100/120) and even though you could say that with a 60Hz monitor I wouldnt be able to see it, I can feel it in the way the game answer my moves. So even with my conf. I limited my FPS to 120.
I am in the same boat, used to get 120-150fps now I am lucky to get 60.
Phenom II 965
Nvidia 550Ti (Asus OC model) in SLI
MultiCore is on
I didn't change any settings, just started to suck on frame rate, nice to know I am not alone.

I'm back again.....My friend has EXACTLY the same computer setup as me. So he also experienced the same issues with CS GO. Well we did the EXACT same thing as on my computer, we updated the BIOS with version f7 from the gigabyte website for our GA-990FXA-D3 motherboard. Install was succesfull. Cs go ranning smooth after restart. Everything seems ok right? Well, he shuts down the computer. Now the computer is not starting up anymore :(. No beeps, no windows, no video signal to monitor, no nothing. Just humming from the power fan. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US, this is a brand new system and it seems to have died on us :(.

(We installed it with TouchBios software, like the website told us)

How can you fix this? Anyone?
Mine seems to be fixed since I disabled multicore rendering. Dont know your situation but during CS office it used to get extermely slow (with a very low ping). EVEN when I was playing on my own with bots. Diabling multicore I experiencing much smoother play and havnt had the weird slow down bug since.
