And apparently AWP is now the easy way. Because with auto-sniper must hit a headshot in any remotely decent skill level match, otherwise you get one-tapped before you can get second shot out. Meanwhile, AWP is still just click people and they drop dead.
Auto-sniper still remains as definitive option to stop a full rush due to fire rate and mag size, but it became so much harder to use that you're better off with AWP and even Scout for its speed.
But yeah, wish I could find a complete change log of all weapons throughout CS2 updates.
