Did auto-snipers get changed in CS2?
I strongly feel like that auto-snipers became significantly harder to use in CS2. Lot less accurate and also seemingly doing less damage, compared to how it was in CS:GO. I was able to play very aggressively with them, even when the scope crosshair is blurry, I still hit my mark. Nowadays it feels like the bullets are non-existent as I'm shooting someone with crosshair literally right on their head.
I can't find any update notes regarding the auto-snipers to check if it they really got changed, or am I just being thrown-off due to sub-tick thing? I just wanna confirm this so I know how to adapt.

certain guns have worse recoil than before, thats all ive noticed so far. but autosniper is still the easy way out, shouldn't be that hard

lol yeah the auto-shotgun has been cracked so far in CS2, its basically auto-sniper but close range

I noticed that too. M4A1-S bullets go bellow crosshair when spraying, I dunno if that was ever a thing with that gun, but everything feels "off".
And apparently AWP is now the easy way. Because with auto-sniper must hit a headshot in any remotely decent skill level match, otherwise you get one-tapped before you can get second shot out. Meanwhile, AWP is still just click people and they drop dead.
Auto-sniper still remains as definitive option to stop a full rush due to fire rate and mag size, but it became so much harder to use that you're better off with AWP and even Scout for its speed.

But yeah, wish I could find a complete change log of all weapons throughout CS2 updates.
