Binding modifiers (CTRL, ALT, SHIFT) in CSGO
Hey! Im currently trying out the Razer Tartarus Membrane, and dont find it to much help playing CS:GO, as it has such few buttons.
But what Im here to ask you, is if its possible to bind ALT+R, ALT+F, and ALT+V to actions like: Weapon 1, Weapon 2, Knife (In that order).
And other bindings like that in general.
Thanks for reading the post!

No, you can only bind things to one key without modifiers.

Well, that sucks. Something should definitly be done to fix that.
We're all used to having modifiers in other games to get the most of out the bindings as possible, why not CS :/

You can make a simple script to use modifiers. start by making the modifier key change the binds for the key u want. For example when u press the alt modifier you change 1 to be bound to smoke grenade. Then when you let go of alt it changes it back to the default bind lets say slot1.

Even though these is no built in function for modifiers but u can make your own.

How would one do this? Do you have a link to something like that?

alias +tBinds "bind z use whatever; bind x radio whatever"
alias -tBinds "bind z normal command; bind x normal command"
bind LeftAlt +tBinds

When you hold LeftAlt, +tBinds is called, temporarily rebinding z & x. When you let go of alt, -tBinds is called, rebinding the keys back to normal. It can also be done with config files (alias +tBinds "exec binds.cfg"; alias -tBinds "exec normal.cfg") to keep the code pretty.

btw, this will exacerbate any ghosting issues your keyboard may have.

OK great thanks. Also with the ghosting/rollover thing I don't think will be an issue lol
