75hz ingame and 60hz on desktop
My monitor does support 75hz on low resolution but I want 1080p on desktop (60hz) whereas I want 1280x960 (75hz) in CS. Is this possible? If yes then how can I do this.
PS: I don't want to lower my native res.

i agree
i also think you would have to keep switching resolution back and forth when playing CSGO and desktop. if thats the case, also not worth it

not arguing but i wonder how/why gaming resolution vs desktop resolution matters

tbh i think i might be wrong (thought maybe he would have to go into nvidia panel and keep switching evrytime he wanted to play / stop playing....)

For OP, this is what i use for custom resolution . maybe you could try this and change the Hz too
