Currently there are a lot of posts about issues with connecting to matchmaking servers and playing games.

The problem seems to affect people from various regions, but only certain accounts.

There are a few common fixes you can try, but they don't seem to fix the problem right now - likely because the error message is broad, and in this case the problem is different than the regular ones.

Please keep your posts constructive and central, and if you see people make new posts direct them to this thread.

Post the things you have tried, that worked for you and be specific in what accounts do and don't work, possibly adding region to help narrow down this problem. Also keep an eye on the thread on our friends over at reddit (/r/GlobalOffensive) where others have posted their issues and possible fixes.

I've passed it on to Valve and am confident that as usual they will fix this problem.

i tried the ipconfig cmds , the steamservice repair , run as admin , verifying integrity of game cache .. nothing works

rebooting routeur and pc too , none worked for me

cant connect to mm servers but to cummunity servers i clould connect perfect. My brother (about 5 meters away) can connect
