Where do I buy cut stone to add on to my house?

Cant seem to find a quarry or anyone selling stone to build your house with. Does anybody know where to get it from?

Every house has a quarry nearby. Look for a lighter grey colored rock face, within 100/200 ft. There will also be a pick axe.

Windstad Manor - To the north, just before the smelter, immediately to the right of the workbench.
Lakeview Manor - Follow north along the rock wall behind the drafting table heading north, there will be a pickaxe to pick up directly in front of it.
Heljarchen Hall - Directly in front of the carpenters table.

Or you can promote a follower to personal steward. Your steward will purchase building materials for you. You'll pay 200 gold for 20 lumber, 100 gold for 20 stone and 20 gold for 20 clay.

For more information about which followers will accept stewardship, take a look at UESP's Followers[www.uesp.net] page and pay heed to the last column (aptly named Steward) in each table.
