what city is the thieves guild in?

read the title. I want an answer because I have created an asassin character just for the thieves guild but I can't seem to find it. also could someone, after finding it, show me a screenshot of it on the world map?

It's in the town where the guards proclaim "home of the thieves guild, but don't believe it" (paraphrasing)... Riften It is the town in the lower right hand of the map.

Riften, Brynyolf will talk to you about money and things, do his quest to start the questline. :)

also(if you haven't got in it yet) the thives guild headquarters is full of enemies(the entrace to it anyway).my suggestion:clear out the path to it ahead of time. I don't know if this is a spoiler or whatever but the headquaters is in the ratways.

Not a big spoiler; in any game, I assume that sewage tunnels will justify caution.

The town is called Riften. There are two entrances. One behind the Mara Temple graveyard, you have to push a big tombstone and it leads you to the Ratway where they are living. Or walk through the town there is a little canal, look for stairs down (towards the orphanage) and go downstairs looking for a door Ratway or Rayway Vault. There are inside/. You find Riften South East of the map. (I hope this is correct). Good luck
