Skyrim won't load.

Whenever I open Skyrim the bethesda logo comes up and the second the Main menu comes up the application closes and then goes to my home screen I do have the minimum requirements and it has worked before.

I am having the same problem, which has only been happening since the last steam update. if anyone has any clue how to fix this...would be great

all you have to do is unilstall any recent mods some mods have problems like that hope this helps :D

Yeah this has been happening to me since the latest Steam update. Both Skyrim and New Vegas are having this problem. This has nothing to do with my mods. If it did, the problem would not persist when all my mods are turned off.
