Game not saving character modifications

Hello, dear fellow players, I come to you with a little annoying problem:

I open the race menu, do some modifications to my character, name him and save the game to supposedly keep the changes.

If he gets killed or I simply reload the savegame (yes, that one I made after the changes), I lose these modifications, normally being replaced by other presets. For example, not matter what kind of warpaint I use, when I load the game I'll always have applied the first one in the options. The same happens with skin tone (always the third option), lip color, cheek color, weight (always the last option), and some more.

The only mods regarding to character appearance I have is "Final Younger Characters" and "Straight Hair Retexture".

have you used showracemenu before saving the game?I got some bugs too after using it

Have you tried using the facechanger in Riften? Not really a solution, but a workaround, perhaps?

Yes, I opened the showracemenu, did some modifications, closed the menu by naming my character and saved the game. I got out of my home and the city without problem, but then I got killed by a dragon. When the game reloaded the last autosave, POOF! the changes are gone. I tried loading my savegame, and the other autosave that the game did when I left the home, they present the same issue too.

Yep, I did, but the game crashes to desktop after I talk to her, I'm gonna see why does it happen.

Well, that's the problem...if u used that command u ll get bugs with the character. A solution would be create another character or load the game before u used showracemenu.

Hmm... I see there's a problem with the sliders.
For some reason, the game saves a different id of certain feature, normally with a number higher or lower than the one I selected. For example, if I select the warpaint number two, the game will save the number three. If I want to use the warpaint number two, I have to choose the number one. I see the same problem with other sliders, normally regarding with skin tones, colors and makeup. Pffft...
