The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Missing files
So I installed Skyrim legendary edition as usual, without any problems and set up a Steam account (obviously) and everything seems just normal. But when I click the Skyrim shortcut on my Desktop or try to run Skyrim from Steam, I get an error "missing executionable". Now, I tried to verify the Steam cache and it found that 3 files were missing (I assume that those are the SkyrimLauncher.exe, TESV.exe and some other unidentified file). it proceeded to download the files from Steam but every single time my anti-virus (ESET Smart Security) reports a virus in all three downloaded files so I delete them.

I got no idea what to do now. I defragmented my computer, reinstalled Skyrim (when I click reinstall Steam verifies game files and again finds that 3 are missing, downloades them, and ofc, there`s a virus).

Anyone faced the same problem ?

Search forum... 100 thread with this problem. Change language to english.

And, there's no virus! For sure.

Yeah, I`ve seen other threads about this, but none of them mentiones a virus.

English is the language set.

Also, something else that might be odd. When I try to connect Nexus Mod Manager with Skyrim it tells me that Skyrim.esm wasn`t found. Could that have something to do with this ?
