How do I check to see if the mods I got from Nexus are installed in my game? Also is there a mod that skips the beginning "small talk?"

I can see all my steam subscribed stuff, but not my nexus stuff in the data files. Is there a way to see if they installed w/o playing the game beforehand? Also is there a mod that will skip the small talk when loading a new character and go straight to the point you can make your character? It is frustrating going thru all the blah blah blah in the wagon when I just want to make my character and start playing .

Nexus Mod Manager is probably the most popular way to handle Nexus mods. As for skipping the opening there is an alternate start mod where you start in a cabin and just begin your char. I haven't actually used it though. I just have a save from right before the char creation starts that I load up for new chars.

Yea right after the guy tries to run off and gets shot down by archers is where you want to make a save.

The game autesaves that point by making a save that stays there forever until you save over it.
