You use 1 house or more?
How important is a house for you and how many do you really own and use?

I've only used the lakeview manor since I've gotten Hearthfire. It has so much storage and stuff that I need.

id take a horse with a few packs anyday rather then a house. i spend alot of time going from house to house with 4000 pounds on me just crawling for hours organising stuff so i cant. "click" ahh man i just picked up every item. maby if i had a musium and people visited and talked about my treasure.

or if my kids would run around playing tag with a staff of fireball id play with them more.

Houses are cool and i have a couple but mainly I use a floating dwemer airship as my house because it is a house I can drive and park wherever I like.

I usually buy every house I come across but I use the Riverside Lodge house mod as my crib cause it's the coolest and pretty lore friendly with everything you could need and auto sorting. (no big gawdy castles).

I rarely use houses lately, I just stay at the inn or I'll set up a tent with a bedroll inside and sleep in that.

I have a house in Whiterun I use to drop off goodies and to catch a few winks. Otherwise, I'm a nomad.
It would be cool if you could rent out some of your houses for some extra income.

i buy all the house i found in game, just for fun, but i live only in one where i put all my stuff for selling, bacause they have so much thing we can transport we can put all the market (on this planet) on the back in taking all her money in selling her thing and we have again enought to furnish and another planet, anyway

i buy all the house just to view the interior when i have finished to buy all the thing i can put in it, and i go to sleep in when i pass by there, i don't go in the inn, i don't want to give her my precioussss gold..., anyway, we don't need to eat, we don't need to drink, we don't need to sleep, we don't need to relax, it's give neer nothing to have an house execpt for keeping some stuff in safe place...

Built and bought every house, manor and wings in my first playthrough, just to see how they looked, but only used Breezehome at first and then Heljarchen Hall, well situated. I love the manors because you can craft everything in there. In my second playthrough I'm almost level 40 and haven't bought a house yet, I keep everything in my horse's saddles and will build Heljarchen Hall again when I feel like it and can be bothered to do what it takes to become a thane.

Update: you don't have to become a thane to buy the land and build the house, nice. No lousy housecarl in my house.

I use the fox hole mod house for storing books, crafting materials, and meat from animals. It's really cool, comes with a pet fox in the house.

I have all the houses because im a video game republican and i MUST HAVE EVERYTHING. but i like to keep my stuff consolidated in riverside lodge which is, ironically, a mod house

Tis good for roleplay purposes if you plan to have a spouse and adopt children. My Nord with his strong Nord family values was proud to give a good home to these two poor girls he found begging in the streets during a blizzard. Then he married Ysolda to give them a mother and role model.

But yeah, as far as gameplay is concerned they're pretty much useless excepted for storage and growing plants you might want to craft alchemic decoctions or foods with cool effects. If you can be bothered to learn alchemy, which I haven't yet. I just made Elsweyr fondues, and venison stews using the leeks I was growing.

I know the mod you speak about but can't remember the exact name. But you mean it seriously is possible to move it around anywhere???

I didn't know this has auto sorting in all chests and such? You mean like with my own inventory having categories right?

Also fixed typo in title. XD
