Nightengale gate glitch

I did everything ...accepted armor put it one accepted becoming nightengale for nocturnal ect...wait at the gate...it can see her on other side...gate will not open can not go to appropriate place...redid several time....what am i doing wrong...what is the fix?

I found a really simple solution, right after you speak to her and she bugs out and says she'll meet you later, use a fully charged unrelenting force shout to push her towards the chain and she'll do what she's supposed to.

all I had to do was turn around. If you put your back to the gate she walks forward and pulls the chain.
