Hello all. you may have heard from me before about skyrim troubles but this time its something in game. not a glitch but i need help finding all sorts of thing that have a gem involved. that includes jewlery. i gto a cool mod and i need some help finding or stealing it all.

hmm, are you talking about Soul gems by any chance?...

If so..Dwemer machinery once you kill them, usually contain soul gems...If that is what you're after, these can be filled and used to make certain weapons in some mods....

Dwemer tombs / ruins can be found waaay out west, around the foothills of Markarth..South of Solitude..other gems etc, you can just buy from traders most of the time or get them from mining ore...yep, I'm guessing you know all of this already, but seeing as you asked.....

For a LOT of normal gems (not soul gems) look at getting the Stones of Barenziah quest. There is a mod that helps you find the stones in the Steam Workshop, but the quest itself is Vanilla.

If it is soul gems you are after, then as Master Dan says: Dwemer machinery, also the Mages Guild Questline and Necromancers tend to carry then too.

Okay. Thats very helpful but i seems i was not clear enough. Im looking for perferred flawless gems. Also please give me the name of that mod.

Once you have the Stones of Barenziah go through a few Nordic ruins. Those burial urns will be full of gems. I think the grade of gem is leveled so if you aren't getting flawless ones you may need to level grind for a while. Although getting all the Stones of Barenziah involves enough dungeon crawling to get you a long way there.

What would i level grind in? theiving?

I often grind Illusion, personally. I buy the Muffle spell from Farengar and just cast it repeatedly, while doing other things.

Also i found a mod called easymine. gives 3 random gems everytime. i want to remove it when im done with what i need. can i unsubscribe and it be removed?

What is the mod? I assume that a mod like that would be simple enough to not have any trouble with being uninstalled.

Its called Easy Mine. look it up in the workshop. it seems very simple.

Early on in the game most of the stuff you get is second rate. As your levels increase so do the value of the items. Along with that come the flawless gems. Later on your'll have so many you will wonder why you worried.

hitting near lvl 20, I noticed receiving flawless gems in mining...

I guess to expect them normally is to expect them not so often...even the normal flawed gems are rare occasions, FrogPrincess pointed out an excellent point, there are more occasions when you find Flawless Gems in Burial urns.. that's your best bet...crypts and catacombs
