A bit off-topic but how's the Destruction magic skill damage scaling mod? Would you recommend it?
edit: I think it looks good, btw. But it really only matters if it looks good to you. Some... people... have a hard time with that concept, don't they?

I have no idea how you could claim that the vanilla state looks the same as this video, or also my modded environment.
The vanilla version of the water was terrible. The quality of the road was terrible. The sky and sun were terrible.
The mods that alter the lighting, change the quality and changed the texture of the water, and some other types of environment made it to look and feel realistic. The sun beam shone through the trees. The water look cleaner. Made it to look more beautiful.
I suggest you to try some of the environment mods then you will realise.
You must be blind, or colour blind at least for saying that. Unbelievable.
People are entitled to their options of course, there is no argument there but you cannot just say that the modded environment and the vanilla environment looks the same because, obviously, they're not.
Yeah that compression I tried on first link really messes up the contrasts, my first attempt for uploading video was here, and may look better even though it is only 720p. I use virtualdub and when it processes it on my end it looks great but nto when Youtube is done with it. I need to compress it to mp4 and aac audio but I can not do this with my current software, and haven't found a cheap solution. The first video I posted I tried to use Nero Vision, and it really did a much poorer job then VirtualDub......uploading and retaining quality on youtube seems to be an art.

I like it as it deffinately seems to make leveling in destruction more constant, not as many highs and lows of feeling useless and then uber powerful...it's more steady...that said as you get higher it really really does get kind of powerful. I think the multiplier might could be toned down, but tying the damage bonus to the destruction skill makes it a steady climb and more enjoyable per level. there's a few destruction mods out there, of all of them this has been most balanced I have tried, but still needs toning down when you get to 30's plus. You could purposely opt to NOT get any damage perks I suppose that would probably keep it balanced and may be what creater intended.

Go ahead. I'll look forward to see it. Be aware, I run my skyrim at ultra settings along with environment mods so I can tell if one is modded or not.
It may, in your view, looked "crap" but is is only because the software used to record it was a little rubbish.
The flora is the original flora that were used in the vanilla, being reused from the Creation Kit for these kind of environment mods. What do you expect? It is just to make the countryside to look more rural and greener. The lighting? Oh my gosh, it is a big difference from the vanilla. Believe me.
There are a few mods that changes the texture of the snow. You just need to look around. Jeez.

Just take a picture each of the same view, one in vanilla state and the other with mods. That is how we and you can compare it to the other. Jesus Christ.
