Start Over Disease

I keep starting a game get to about level 40 or so and then realize that I could have done things differently. So I start over and get to the same point.

Does anyone else have this problem or is just my advancing age that is making me start over.

I start over all the time i just get bord with a character so i start a new one.

A friend of mine did that with Skyrim as well, although not sure or the level he went up to each time. But because of this the game became too stale and he gave up without ever finishing the main quest. Hope you get a good build you like soon!

I do that a lot and a lot of times I just get bored. Its an awesome game but you can't expect to be entertained forever! so roll new characters and mods lol

Yes there things I still want to do bulwark like become Guildmaster of the Theives Guild. So lets hope after almost 1000 hours I can get to one I like. They ought to call it Bleak Falls Fran instead of Bleak Falls Barrow by now.

in a way it's almost better to make a char you dont really care for , it forces you to work within a constraint and improve the char , the struggle is half the fun (well maybe not half) but still it does add to the game for me , kinda like playing with one hand tied behind your back so to speak

i never liked playing as a female because im a charge in heavyarmor kind of guy and i just dont feel right when i do that with a female

Not being into the whole do-everything-with-one-character thing, I tend to restart around level 40-50 myself. I usually find I've done everything quest wise that my character can do without breaking what I had in mind when I started. If that makes any sense.

The Legendary thing changes that a bit though - so we'll see what happens in the future.

that's up to you , the main thing is dont resart when you realize you could have made a better char , play it out , see where it goes (so many possibilties) dont try and do every quest , just have fun with it , play it like you mean it . bethesda gave us a great game , a game thats ment to be enjoyed ,a game where you choose what you want to do , i think a lot of people get all caught up in the idea of playing as an ideal char , with the best skills and what not , the idea is just play the game and see where it ends up

I am up in the 60s level and am quite happy with the character I have. Some of the decisions I make are not the best but then I go back to a previous save and try again. Like Lakeview first time I did not like the decision I made to furnish the cottage before building on and not liking the final result. So I went back and started building again from a previous save. I will continue with this play through as I still have Dawnguard to complete. I completed Dragonborn ealier and am trying to complete this Thieves Guild thing before moving to Dawnguard. But I find the repetitive quests very boring. Its about time Delvin and Vex got off their fat behinds and did something instead of relying on me to bring in the cash!!

Im just working with one character and im going to do everything with that one. Im currently level 37 and i use destruction magic in one hand and a one handed weapon in the other. I dont really steal from people or kill innocent people(sometimes i do by mistake or if im feeling a little annoyed with my RL day). So i guess you can say i am a pretty clean player and im enjoying it very much. I dont think i'll be starting a new character anytime soon.
