Right click Skyrim, and click show DLC, does it show it there ?
Pandemic Nov 28, 2013 @ 6:59am
Right click Skyrim in your library then Propertier > DLC. Tell me if Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire are listed.

I only ask because as DLC, I don't think it would show up in the library.

Also if your game says "legendary edition" next to it, the DLC may not show up because its just part of that version of the game.... possibly?

It will be under the DLC tab. Legendary edition is the name of the bundle, rather than the name of the game you get tied to your account.

You will have Elder Scrolls IV:Skyrim in your library and the DLC tied to it, rather than them being listed independantly.

right click skyrim, properties,dlc.... all 3 dlc's show in there but nothing in my library. Does that mean i need to d/l each seperately? Where do i go to get 'em? Sorry for being a bit thick but theres no info that i can see : (

The DLC will have downloaded when you downloaded Skyrim, you don't need to do anything more.

If you wish to check you have them, when you open the Skyrim Launcher you can check the data files list for Dawnguard/Dragonborn/Hearthfire. If they are there you have the DLC.

Alternatively, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data and Dawnguard.esm/.bsa and Dragonborn.esm.bsa should be there.

You will just stumble upon them. Usually by npc prompts when you hit a certain level.

Like a courier may come up to you with a letter, initiating the quest. Or a member of an organisation looking to recruit. Trying to not give anything away, it's always better finding it yourself.

But yes, don't worry. It wont be hiding away in a tiny corner, impossible to find. :P
