lol 238... did it ever work?

I mean, did you try 50 first? Then 100?

Surely you didn't think you could just run through the workshop clicking green check marks. Besides. The mods aren't downloaded yet, subscribing just makes them download when next you run the game (at the launcher), so it's freezing up trying to -download- your massive pile of mods.

Edit2 for helpfulness: Your game is a cluster**** if you just ran through the workshop hitting green check marks, it probably wouldn't be stable with that many mods even if it was merged properly which I'm guessing is over your head. You will probably need to cut that back to more like 100 mods... and be wary of mods that alter the same things, like two lighting mods or two water mods or two extra creatures mods. Hell, even two mods making changes to the same location (say, Breezehome) can break your game.

Unless I'm mistaken and you've got a history of modding Morrowind and Oblivion and are ready to tackle wrye bash--you have to scale back.

Start the launcher and wait for all the mods to download. If they don't all download, I agree that you probably need to add them in smaller groups. Once they are downloaded, close the launcher and then open it again to check the Data list. They should be there.

Since you have so many mods you will need to use BOSS and other mod managing tools. Check the pinned help thread on bugs and crashes. For further help try Googling 'Skyrim Boss' for the program link and various videos on how to and why.

Are you like the kid in the candy shop? You have to be more like the Mom who says 1 is all you get for now, so pick carefully. Also as Joucebag says, wait for all of them to download. Btw, I have 1 that is 700 MB in size, so downloading that many will take a while.

Admit it, wowzy, we've all pushed modding a bit too far for a few extra sweets... :squirtooh:

Thats like eating all the cake in the cake shop?
Have you UFO on if you loaded that, say in middle of all your mods downloads, you do have an issue.

I bailed on UFO for Interesting NPCs. My Sweet Good God in Heaven, THAT is a good mod. And it blends so smoothly into vanilla. If there's only one content mod someone gets--that should be it.

They aren't strictly incompatible, but getting them to gel required my mod count to go up another 10 and and I didnt care much about the features, really.

Basially UFO is the first mod you put on the game then everything else fall in place, put it after other mods and crashes a plently.
