Nexus Mod Manager Problems

I have the mod in the program it is just when I hit the blue puzzle piece to activate it is tells me that it has been activated but it dosen't go into the plug ins tab and is still under the default unassigned folder and it dosen't pop up in game either, can anyone help with this proplem? If it helps, the mod was the weathered locks v2 mod from the nexus!

That is because modder hasn't assigned it, it is OK.

Wait, so the mod works, I just can't see it say that it is on, am I right? And how do I get it assigned? Or is that not important?

Yes! go to mod page, go down list to unassigned position, click on box with number in it next to unassigned, open it if big green tick there, it is installed. Red cross means its not installed.
Its not important BOSS still puts it in right load order.

Ok, In NNM the mod has a green check mark, so it dosn't matter that it dosen't show up in the "data files" option in-game and it isn't suposed to be in plug-ins. So did I get it right this time? I haven't tried playing yet and this is my first time with nexus but this is really helping me in the future.

Once you play the game BOSS will update load order and it will be there (if you have BOSS)
NMM and other program use BOSS for their data information from that load order.

This probaly makes me sound like an idiot but what is BOSS?

Go to internet download it BOSS for skyrim (They have their own web page) click on big download button, unzip it. Put icon to desktop, play game save and then open BOSS it will tell your ESM's(main game) and DLC's ESP's (mods) Patches and other esm's(mods types)
It was made for Obilivion - Better Obilivion Sorting Software but can be used for Skyrim.
Sort load order
Tells you of dirty edits
Warns you if something is not right
If you need a bash patch
Recognised plugins
Unrecognised plugins
Note it put the last to bottom of load list (because those mods have yet to be validated and position in loadorder. Thats OK they still work.
And as I said before other programs are based around it.

Since this is my first time doing this sort of thing I looked it up on You Tube and they said that you should use it if you are more experenced at modding, wich I am not. The weather locks mod wich is the only one I have is still in the mods tab in NMM still under unassigned, how do I move it to plug ins were the mods from workshop are at?

Turns out it dosen't mean sh*t if it is in the data files, they still work either way.
