I recommend going to nexusmods.com selecting skyrim top 100 mods. Usually the best of the best are listed there with lots of info comments and screens.

Better Vampires
Auto Consume Potions
Auto Recharge Weapons
Auto Harvest and Loot

These are considered "essential" for me.
