some textures look really bad on ultra
I've downloaded the game hd texture pack from steam, and also downloaded the fan made one. I'm running the game on the highest settings possible. Yet some textures and models look like :nekkerheart::nekkerheart::nekkerheart:.

I feel it might be a bug or something?

Wow, that's weird... Is it only the same models and textures that looks the same?

Yeah. It's very inconsisten. For example snow textures look absolutely gorgeous but muddy ground is what you see. I find it hard to believe that this is the highest possible texture quality.

What "fan made one"? The pinned thread at the top of the forum contains a list of mods including texture mods recommended by members. I wouldn't bother with the official HD pack myself but I would recommend the Skyrim 2K HD texture packs if you were to ask.

Also there isn't a single pack that covers everything, there are separate packs made by different people that cover various things i.e. weapons, armours, buildings, forts, mudcrabs...

Add to that, that the more HD packs you add the slower your game will be until you add one to many and it all falls over and dies.

But yea, I'd recommend the aMidianBorn and Vivid Landscapes ranges, and Stactic Mesh Improvement Mod for instant wow factor.
