The game looks nice and it has some nice features, but the whole MMO stuff just do it for me.
Waaay too much KSing for a TES game for me :<
Plus with all the mods I can get for Skyrim, I feel like I've barley scratched the surface.
It didn't help that they wanted people to pre-order more CE by putting an exclusive race in it or that they offer "join any faction as any race" in a faction war based game, but that's just my opinion.
I'll pass on this and hope the next is developed once again by Bethesda and goes back to the roots of their gameplay that makes a succesful RP game that is immersive.
I, too, will pass. It's Elder Scrolls in name only anyway.
I have a recurring image of a dunmer character that I carried through TES III-IV-V series. I'll be happy to once again play as a dunmer nightblade in the TESO.
And, of course, looking forward to TES VI! It's a special experience in it's own right and I think they are doing a right thing keeping it single-player only. Hope it stays this way
The UPlay store - the store for *Ubisoft* games. The store for selling only the games of a completely different publisher that when searched returns no results for Elder Scrolls or TESO? Are you sure you're talking about the same game as the rest of us?
Fortunately Ubi/Uplay is only a sales platform for TESO, you won't have to run it through the uplay launcher as they just send you a key and you add it to your TESO account and download their own launcher.
Oh and as for the other posts about the Imperial race being locked behind the DDE/Imperial version of TESO you are completely wrong, Zenimax already said that it is initially only available to the DDE/Imperial owners, but will make it's way into the game through a 'long and difficult' storyline (that will be unlocked at level 50) that will be added a couple of months down the line for FREE, yes you heard me FREE, so no it is not locked behind a premium pay wall.
The DDE/Imperial owners only paid for immediate use of them instead of having to wait.
" hell i got a free ticket, imma go, mainly for the whisky n the chicks though "
not so much for the chick in an online game though, but there will be whiskey :P
Well, they certainly didn't draw attention to that on the preorder page for the Imperial Edition, if so. (I was browsing a few weeks ago, maybe they've changed it since then, I suspect they may have gone 'oh, people are annoyed, quick, let's say they don't HAVE to get the IE...')
