Pass. TES is a single player game, to me.

I had a go on the beta a couple of weeks ago and I don't think it's for me, I'm not very keen on MMO format, really. Just as well, as I can't afford it (just splashed out on Fallout: New Vegas, no more new games for a few months!) Hopefully people will enjoy it, though!

I tried it a few times during the beta and i wont buy it..
The game looks nice and it has some nice features, but the whole MMO stuff just do it for me.
Waaay too much KSing for a TES game for me :<

Yea I'm probably gonna pass on TES:O. My brother won a Beta key for it, offered it too me and I turned it down.

Plus with all the mods I can get for Skyrim, I feel like I've barley scratched the surface.

I've tried the beta and I found the game as a whole to be lacking the immersion of a TES game.
It didn't help that they wanted people to pre-order more CE by putting an exclusive race in it or that they offer "join any faction as any race" in a faction war based game, but that's just my opinion.
I'll pass on this and hope the next is developed once again by Bethesda and goes back to the roots of their gameplay that makes a succesful RP game that is immersive.

Not interested at all, I'll replay past TES games instead, and maybe Skyrim with gameplay mods.

Another WoW imitation with a purchase-to-play model topped with a monthly subscription, an in-game content store and an entire race locked behind a premium paywall. Four payment plans in one. What's not to love?

I, too, will pass. It's Elder Scrolls in name only anyway.

As an RP gamer since Morrowind, I find it hard to pass an opportunity to wander the lands of Tamriel just for the sheer excitement of exploration and lore.

I have a recurring image of a dunmer character that I carried through TES III-IV-V series. I'll be happy to once again play as a dunmer nightblade in the TESO.

And, of course, looking forward to TES VI! It's a special experience in it's own right and I think they are doing a right thing keeping it single-player only. Hope it stays this way

I've only seen it offered for sale in the UPlay store.
If this is a UPlay game be prepared for problems.

The UPlay store - the store for *Ubisoft* games. The store for selling only the games of a completely different publisher that when searched returns no results for Elder Scrolls or TESO? Are you sure you're talking about the same game as the rest of us?

I have no particular reason to make this up. I was surprised to see ESO
in their store but perhaps I was having some sort of hallucination.
In any case you can't access the UPlay store unless you have a UPlay
account and sometimes not even then. e.g. I can't access it now
All I'm saying is if this IS a UPlay version expect problems.

But of course that wasn't the question....

here you go: PROOF:

Fortunately Ubi/Uplay is only a sales platform for TESO, you won't have to run it through the uplay launcher as they just send you a key and you add it to your TESO account and download their own launcher.

Oh and as for the other posts about the Imperial race being locked behind the DDE/Imperial version of TESO you are completely wrong, Zenimax already said that it is initially only available to the DDE/Imperial owners, but will make it's way into the game through a 'long and difficult' storyline (that will be unlocked at level 50) that will be added a couple of months down the line for FREE, yes you heard me FREE, so no it is not locked behind a premium pay wall.

The DDE/Imperial owners only paid for immediate use of them instead of having to wait.

Well, they certainly didn't draw attention to that on the preorder page for the Imperial Edition, if so. (I was browsing a few weeks ago, maybe they've changed it since then, I suspect they may have gone 'oh, people are annoyed, quick, let's say they don't HAVE to get the IE...')
