I think I remember Sven asking me to take a hateful letter to Camilla. I told her Faendel didn't write it. Faendel was my first follower on this playthrough. If I don't take the girl from the Bannered Mare, I might take Sven. Didn't know he was eligible as a follower. Thanks!
That's a good idea! Thank you.
The old man at the alchemist's shop? My mind went blank. If it's him, I don't think I'll choose him as he amuses me. He and the alchemist in Windhelm are actually funny with their comments. "I hope you've got some coin to spend, and you're not just here to GAWK at my goods!" - Nurelion :-D

Edit. I didn't kill anyone. I slaughtered cultists, but left the quest hanging. I might finish it some day.
Thank you. I know who you're referring to. He might be my next husband (when I play again), so I probably won't choose him.
The first time I played, I didn't do this quest and House of Horrors. I've done House of Horrors, but it made me uncomfortable, to say the least. :-(
Only if you take his side against Faendal. Mind you, it turns out Faendal is as much of a lying arsehole as Sven. If I could ever get the 'make anyone into a follower' thing on AFT working, I'd be fairly tempted to bring Farengar, I think he annoys me even more than Nazeem. Although he's quite useful in the Whispering Door quest, of course.
