Back to the crashes..yet again

Okay guys...I made one of these threads a good couple of months ago...never would of thought i'd be back to this situation...I've been getting the same problem for a couple months but never really bothered to make a thread..again but..I JUST WANT TO BEAT THIS DAMN GAME ALREADY. My computer seems to run fine on this, I think..I got a NVIDIA 9400 GT and my processor is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+ My OS is Windows Vista Service Pack 2...I get the usual 'crash to desktop' 8 times out of 10...I just don't know what to do anymore...I wish I was an expert in computers so I could tell you what exactly is wrong with it...but it would just crash out of nowhere and go to my desktop...sometimes when I leave from a place other times when i'm just moving or standing still it would just crash!...i'm not sure if its a corrupted save file cause I was faced with the issue before when I tried starting a new game...now its just constant...I have not beaten this game ONCE...this is definitely a fun game to play it infuriates me that I cant play for no longer than 5 - 10 mins..I just need someone's assistance asap please :'(.

P.S sorry for this long paragraph but I'm desperate!

Thanks I appreciate the help...I had someone help me over this type of topic before..Haven't spoken or heard of him since...I thought this problem would be resolved...it hasn't :-(.

GT Cards are for Media use GTX Cards are for gaming.....That card is cr*p,sorry and that processor is pretty pants as well. Sorry chap but that rig isn't good enough.:(

Damn I was afraid to hear that...it was wierd cause when I first got this game back in the beginning of 2013 it was running great surprisingly...I even went out of my way to buy the kinds of RAM I need, I currently have 8g of ram thinking that would resolve the problem...I was wrong. I mean I got a basic Hewlett Packerd for crying out loud..it aint a gaming computer i'll tell you that!

Do you uninstall mods a lot without starting a new game?
If yes, then your save-file could be toast.

unfortunately I have a habbit of deleting mods alot then just going back into the game...I must of started a new game a half a dozen times..

Thanks for the advice...i was just playing a couple mins ago..just crashed again unfortunately..but i'm really trying not to resort to that...again..lol that would be the 3rd time i would have to start a new game -.-.

I apologize for that, like I said I ain't much of a computer expert so it's hard to describe..& that's exactly what's going through my head.. I mean it could any one of those mods...i'll give it a shot though..

Had a Nvidia 9600gtx Sonic and it got very hot in games..... . Never tried it with this game.
Ever thought of a TERMAL problem? Becouse it runs a few minutes you said and then *poof* game crashes. I`d spec the temperature of the graficcard. => emregency shutdowns , freezez ... .
If you have annother GAMESAVE load it and wait - if it crashes after the same time period it`s most likely a termal problem.

ive had CTD errors in fallout 3, New Vegas , Morrowind , Oblivion and Skyrim.
I stopped getting the CTD's when i went into date Files and disabled the MASTER ESM. give that a try aswell it worked for me but it may not work for everyone else maybe lower the frequency a bit (EDIT) my typing sucks.

i was going to suggest that.... installation is easy, it comes in as a ZIP folder, and all you need to do is extract all of it to the game folder, found in your steam folders, then open it up, bada bim, bada boom, done.

I appreciate all of the feedback. I'll have you know i was playing earlier and it was actually running great...I crashed about two times during the course of 50 mins but it looks like a step in the right direction nevertheless. i'm determined to get this game working again. i'm gonna try cleaning the tower my OS is Windows Vista Service Pack 2. so that must still be good right?
