Question for people who play this with a 360 controller

Do you have any issues while playing skyrim with a controller? i have weird lag when looking around and I thnik it might be my computer but I just wanna make sure? so does the game run 100% smooth for you guys?

it should most certainly run just fine with a controller.

Depending on the controller, you should be able to configure the x/y sensitivity under Settings. Also, look-lag may well be due to issues not related to the controller at all, but to the rendering of what you see when you look around.

I prefer the keyboard too on a pc game (specially shooter like)
but... the controller is better when you want to sneak in skyrim.
With the keyboard it is just max speed of very slow...

And for the question, no, no strange lag or problem for me.

Controller all the way. It's alright using the Mouse and Keyboard for certain games but for games like this it has to be control pad.

The game has suffered for the PC. It's myriad of potential limited every time by the tiny number of buttons available to the console. Hence why games nowadays are crap. Because they are designed to conform with the lowest denominator of controls. This is all due to platform merging for convenience for them (the developers). So that they can shovel the game to all customers across multi platforms without spending any more money on making the superior PC version; with it's vastly greater graphics capabilities and user interface key/ mouse options.

Don't get me wrong, I have great issues with the developers more than the console to be honest. But the limitations caused by the consoles are obvious to see, and really frustrating.

No Pc gaming is killing itself. between having to upgrade parts all the time just to keep up with new games, and with the abosloute♥♥♥♥♥♥community of pc game master race (such as yourself). it's only natural that they would focus on the console community. more people would rather sit back with a comfortable controller and enjoy the better graphics then have to sit up and use k and m on relaxing games like skyrim.

So you and the rest of the pc master race can go circle jerk off a cliff.

I'm 20 and a proud console gamer. someone is a little salty that better form of gaming is taking over. {lol} and i guess you don't have a clue about pc either since all over forums while looking up different games pc gamers even refer to themselves as pc master race. anyone who thinks that they are better because they play one type of gaming over the other is. but most of the people that do play on the pc. mainly because most people on console don't give a♥♥♥♥♥♥ ya we don't have the power of pc but 400 bucks for a console thatg will run all it's games smoothly for 8 years is a pretty good deal. we can't mod it but honestly skyrim is the only game i've played on here worth modding, so your point doesn't carry over to everyone.

I'm just having a little fun, but to be honest, the console controller is PERFECTLY suited to Skyrim. Because games nowadays are designed and programmed to run on PC and Console, saving the devs money. The downside to this, however, are the crazy bugs that it causes.

I've been hearing that PC gaming was dying since the release of the Playstation 2, which was supposed to be the PC killer. Of course, I am typing this into the Steam application forums next to my llist of 50 titles, many of which are exclusive to the PC.
