A noobie question

Is it better to creaft wpns or just use the wpns that get drop by enemies ? Reason I am asking is.. I've been trying to find a better mace..but have yet to come across a better one for awhile now and I'm having a harder time killing enemies.

Craft. I know right? There seems to be a time where the best gear you can use is the same gear, give or take jewelery, for like 20 levels. Anyway, If you are having a tough time finding a new mace, I'd say start smithing until you can craft better armor and weapons then proceed to use the "Grinding Post"( ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that sounds wrong but I can't remember the name) to increase the mace's damage.

Craft your weapons. Late game (Like level 50+ if you're still playing), crafted items via Smithing and Enchanting will really give you the edge you need to survive.
