[Solved]Game wont launch
Hadnt played skyrim in a while, and upon trying to play recently discovered that the game wont launch. The launcher appeaers, but nothing happens when i hit play. Ideas?

EDIT: Verifying Game cache worked

It used to work, so I dont see how a patch would work.

The reason why patches could work is because when you attempted to launch the game IT would update but the bug fixes are in the unofficial patches... so...read the Sale FAQ.

Fixed, thank you all for help. My old buggy antivirus killed some of the game files apparently.

So, the verify cache worked? If so, could you please edit your original post (topic) to include [Solved] so others with the same issue can quickly find a possible solution?
