Deleting Adopted children.

Curious to see how this whole adopting thing worked... I adopted two children. Now the two urchins annoy the crap out of me.

My question: Will using the console command to end thier existence cause any issues in game with future quests and/or stability? I

Not really there mostly decoration.
The only quest i ever had was my wife being kidnapped(bandits in this game are very dumb)

The game is not prepared for their deaths, so your spouse(if you have one) may act as if you still have them arround, and i don't think you can adopt kids again, just like you can't marry a second time if your spouse dies.

You can also uninstall Hearthfire, play and save, then install it again. Your kids will go away, but so will everything else in the DLC.

always a bad idea to delete a mod mid game, particularly an esm-file

indeed Npc's as children have a ton of scripts attached to them so yea probably a bad idea

Yeah, I'm on the "dear god, of course that'll be bad for your game" side of the fence, and definitely on the "DO NOT DISABLE ESP OR ESM FILES, ESPECIALLY DLC, MID-GAME" side. How attached are you to your spouse? If the answer is "meh, not very" then you can move them with the kids to another house and then never visit (or find a new house for yourself).

I deleted them using Jaxonz positioner. I deleted thier beds using Jaxonz positioner, and replace one bed with an alchemy table. and the other bed with an echanting table. No more allowance, no more tag... No more kids fighhting at the front door. So far so good. If I run into any troubles I'll post it. I have no problem knowing I can't adopt again.
