Worth trying before you uninstall stuff.
I suspect something like Lock Overhaul, but I have been using that for some time without any undue effects, so it's either something else, or something conflicting with that. Lock Overhaul is only active for smashing locks, normal lockpicking and spells are not enabled. I have tried moving that to the end of the load order, but that didn't make any difference.
Is there a way I can start a game and transport myself to somewhere with a locked door that I can experiment on? Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to use the console to unlock doors if I have the right key. I was able to open the claw door in Bleak Falls Barrow without any problem, but I can't open any locked door in Riverwood. They open fine when they are unlocked though.
Got me buggered!
