Time Limit: End of Game
Does the newest Age of Wonders: Planetfall have a no time limit option to finish the game. I personally enjoy a long slow game that takes a long time to explore every inch of a world to really experience an look at each an every race technology and enjoy war and peace with different factions. I have run out of time 2 times in the old age of wonders 3. So is there an option to completely fully utterly not end the game without complete domination. I'm talking no 1,000 turn 10,000 turn or even 100,000 turn time limit then its Completely Game Over. Yes or no please explain?

What do you mean?

You mean continuing the game after you have won?

I'm talking about the game finishing before I won. Like the time limit exceeded an the game finishes as a draw unfinished and unconquered. So like finishing before your ready to finish the game.

I've never heard of this.

In the campaign there are some timed missions, is that what you are talking about?

Sounds like you are talking about a Score Victory (After a set amount of turns, whoever has the highest score wins) I believe it is now an option to turn that off. I don't remember who it was but one streamer decided to turn all win conditions but domination off, and when he showed the quest screen that tracks the various ways to win, the score one was gone as well as all but the domination one.

As I do not remember who it was I can not check to be sure and we never got to see the set up screens to know if it really was an option and not just some kind of bug that hid that one, it would still be best to wait for confirmation that it can be turned off. I myself am also not a fan of Score victory, limits the game time, which is good vs human players so it doesn't drag on but vs AI I enjoy being able to go at my own speed and not find I win cause it timed out on me.

You can enable/disable victory conditions. Except for the 'last commander standing' one.
So if the AI doesn't get you.

We do gear the game - balance, etc. - towards victory before turn 100.
However, iirc we do have a slow mode which changes most of the settings influencing that.

Think 1000 or 100.000 is a bit out of bounds for where I think the game is still fun. That's 'nothing left to research' and 'an army on each hex' territory : D>

They mean a "Score Victory," which is commonly featured in games like this. If nobody has won by the end of the time limit, a winner is declared based on whichever faction had the highest score.

Thankfully, most games seem to have the option to disable it. Such as Stellaris, and Civilization.

So is it possible to keep on playing past turn 100 or is it set in stone I'm mainly just trying to explore all parts of the game in 1 play through cause I enjoy exploring the game fully to plan my next play through :) an thanks for answering

That first line is telling you that you can keep playing; Score is one of the victory conditions you can disable. Sikbok's just saying that the game stops being fun after a bit (which is basically always the case in these types of games; you run out of research, you run out of expansion space, and strategy decays to whoever has the best economy).
