i went out to buy the xbox 360 controller and everything is fine but the bummer trigger doesnt work for drift (which is very important for speedrunning)
im about to lose my mind i dont even want to play this game without drift not working
tried the xbox360ce emulator
tried deleting it and re installing it
NOTHING IS WORKING FOR DRIFT TO WORK
BUT IT DID WORK when i FIRST GOT THE GAME WITHOUT SETTING CONTROLS IN THE DUMB CONFIGURATION but the x y b a buttons were all backwards so i had to change it in the congifuration
my god this is fustrating cuz i know the bumpers work its just this game
and now its side stepping to the left by itself im about to delete this game and try to forget about my love for sonic :(
yea but it didnt help im re installing the whole game and re installing the controller now
deleted the xbox360ce mod or whatever it was im pretty sure that what was causing it to sidestep
im just going to play without drift i guess, going to look to see if it is any mods to fix this problem
nothing, and on top of that now my bummer buttons arent working , cant even side step this game is beyond me
and this video helps too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmryM-4TFwY
I'm curious, did you get the version of x360ce that's specifically designed for Sonic Generations?
Because of technical reasons, the regular version of x360ce won't work correctly on Generations, and requires a special version of the program.
I believe that's what causes the "endless sidestepping" problem, if I'm remembering right.
I used to use a PS2-style PC controller, had to use x360ce to make it work for Generations and had that very problem with endless sidestepping.
I believe I got it solved once I switched to the special version of x360ce.
(Of course, I now use an Xbox 360 controller, so I no longer use that program anyways)
