the game has two player online co-op. As soon as you find the first survivor in the world and invite them back into your camp, they'll be your Follower and you can invite a friend of yours to drop into the game and take that Follower over. You can find the first Follower within 10 minutes of playing.
Cheers,
Mina
you will drop in and drop out of the game at any point you like. As soon as you drop out of your friend's game, the Follower will drop all equipment they are wearing and everything that is in their inventory. Your friend can pick those things up and store them away for you to get them back the next time you play together.
The Guest Player will NOT have any campaign progression. Only the Host Player's game progresses while you are in online co-op. So you can not continue THAT specific save game when your friend can't play that night.
Cheers,
Mina
there is a limit on how far you can stray away from your partner, but in a deadly world like Fade to Silence, splitting up would mean certain death for both of you!
1) If the host player finds more than one follower, can the guest player choose which follower to be?
2a) Does the game have rpg skill mechanics for the player (can put points into sneak, arrow range, etc.), or does it just go off of the player's skill. I ask because...
2b) If the guest player can choose which follower to be, does this mean he gets that particular followers skillset, or does that follower now become a generic character reliant on the player's skills?
Why should anyone connect to play with anyone in a game like this? If I want to play with friends there are more suitable games right? Just play this game as a single player game, and go play another game, made for COOP, with your friends.
