Dead people

So my people are dead, how did they die? No idea but here is the thing they are still alive, so i guess i got undead now. I wonder if loading will kill everyone or if it will fix the error.

Quick update, loading my save file instantly killed them so i guess i just have to restart.

Second update, happend again this time it was pretty instantly and again i did not see how their health drop to zero.

At the moment the game is just to broken to be playable, i hope this critical bug is fixed soon.

Hm so for some reason some colonists are spawning as dead people, this also happens randomly as the game goes on so i am not sure what could cause this. Could be anything.

Sorry to hear you are having issues and that is an odd one. If you are running any mods, please disable them and see if that resolves the issue. If not, please send me your relevant save file and log file to info@mercuryfallen.com so that I can investigate this issue further.

This game dont got any mods so i am not using any, i just started the game and played for a bit when i noticed several of the colonists had been tagged as dead but they still walked around doing their jobs etc. But when you load the save file they instantly die. This issue seen to happen in every game i try so i hope the save file and player log i sent helps solve it. I sent the email just now.

Thanks for the additional information. There are mods available for the game in the Workshop.

When starting a new game, do you recall what scenario you used? If it's a custom scenario do you recall what settings you may have changed? I'm currently unable to replicate the issue you describe, but I am looking further into it.

I did custom, i changed the number of starting people and robots, i had the negative events at 0 except the alien thing that i am unsure what is. I raised the starter food up. I think thats all i did.

Quick update oh and there is one thing i did in all my games that might be related, i dismantle stuff for building materials before i do any building so there is allot of it on the ground. So could that be what is killing people some how?

Thanks for the additional information. After running some tests it appears, for some reason, that colonist stats such as hunger/fatigue are still updating while the colonist is still in the stasis capsule. This results in them dieing in the capsule, but they don't run the proper death process when they come out of the capsule. They then will die, however, once saved/reloaded. I'm working on a patch fix and it should be available soon.
