Mercury Fallen

Mercury Fallen

More variety and player-controlled options for the game please.
As the title I would like to see way more alternatives and options for player-control.

It's an early Access title, so yeah things are still in development, just that every time I play this game it seems to turn out the same way, and I end up being disappointed in it.

I would like to see some more player options right at the start for setting up map/game parameters; the RNG system just does not seem to work properly. I have had to abandon every single map because of the same problem of being *locked* by lack of tech and/or resources. It does not make for a fun experience at all.

At map set-up I would like to see a player choice to have a lot more stasis pods on the map at the start (a slider that goes from 2 minimum to a max of 10). I would like to see a choice to set the amount of resources so you wont get stuck and not be able to continue. I would like to see a more viable distribution of skill-sets between the colonists. I would like to see some more alternatives to game-goals (smaller discoveries on the way to larger overall goals) generally so that the game does not play out in the same linear way every time.

I like MF and hope it will be successful. :)

Thanks for playing Mercury Fallen and for the feedback. :) Further control over starting conditions is something that will be added to the game. What resources are you running out of that affects your progression? Where do you usually become stuck and unable to progress?

Hijacking, sorry :)
I would like to see this turn into Rimworld really. It looks promising for sure.

Sorry for not answering this sooner, I lost track of this thread.

I am very glad some control over starting conditions is planned and maybe that will sort things out.

In terms of getting stuck, every map always seems to turn out the same where resources in the vicinity are just not enough to get basic things up and running (eg like not being able to get cooked food ready before rations run out).
