Information Pop-Ups
I understand that "Mary Jones" got a stomach ache from eating a potato, but why is that important to me? I also don't understand what I have to be informed each time a colonist fails at crafting. If it is one colonist or machine consistently, I get it, but EACH and EVERY fail is a bit much, don't you think?
I would also like to see it so that these pop-up messages don't supersede the screen I'm on. For example, if I am trying to change the colour of an item, the pop-up sometimes prevents me from choosing the colour I want. I have to stop, dismiss the pop-up, then go back to the item again. It's quite frustrating.
Maybe you could make those info messages available from an info panel, that we can select, instead of having them interrupt the game. Once I get the game really rolling, I'm getting one of those info pop-ups, on average, every 23 seconds. It makes it hard to accomplish anything, other than dismissing messages.
Also, maybe there's something in those messages that I should be paying attention to, but I just find the most of them annoying. When I'm managing a colony of 25 humans, and 6 or 7 bots, I REALLY don't give a rat's patootie that "Bill" is now a second level Technician, or that Worker Z-856301257854165744255614 is now a level 6 miner. It's nice to know, maybe, but I don't like it interrupting the game to do so.

i agree. maybe a few options on to what we do see as pop ups in the system settings?

Some refinement/options for notifications is something that I do have planned. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Dude!! Just upgraded to latest version, and the pop-ups have gotten WORSE instead of better!! Plus, I see you have added a LOT more cave ins. I REALLY don't see the need for either. If you insist on going this route, I may just stop playing the game. It's getting too frustrating....
