Just No.
In zoological facilities, animals are imprisoned for life, as in a prison. Zoos pretend that this drastic measure is necessary for species protection and knowledge about the animals. In truth, zoos, however, pursue whole other goals.

The internationally renowned primatologist Prof. dr. Volker Sommer said in an interview for the science magazine GEO: "Let's face it: Zoological gardens are there because we want to delight in captive creatures. Zoos are show events at the expense of the forced actors. "

Zoos spend a small fraction of their annual budget on conservation projects. At the same time, however, almost all zoos receive a total of tens of millions of euros in subsidies from municipal coffers. If these taxes would flow directly into the conservation of the natural habitats of endangered species, many animals today would not be threatened with extinction. Instead, the zoos spend the money on expensive breeding programs - for species that can never be reintroduced. If, for example, the zoos ceased all Tiger breeding programs, the money saved could be used to fund game wardens and equipment to a sufficient degree, effectively protecting the last wild tigers.

In zoos, animals can not live their natural behaviors and needs. Visitors can not see how birds fly, cheetah run or monkeys climb trees. Social interactions, foraging or mating behavior are not or only to a very limited extent possible. The sight of maladjusted or apathetic animals shows zoo visitors a completely wrong picture of animals.

Wild animals have enormous demands on their habitat. In nature, the territory of a tiger can extend over several hundred square kilometers; Elephants walk up to 80 kilometers a day. Our closest relatives, the chimpanzees, live in forest areas of up to 70 square kilometers. No zoo in the world can offer these animals anything like species-appropriate living conditions. Therefore, many animals are visibly disturbed. According to a published animal husbandry study, most of the checked zoo enclosures were unsuitable for satisfying the species-specific needs of the animals. 87% of the enclosures lacked any kind of behavioral and employment material. Almost a third of the enclosures did not even fulfill the minimum requirements laid down by the authorities. The spokesman for the WWF said in an interview that all tigers in zoos invariably are disturbed.

You are kidding right? Its a game , most people do want another Zoo game because of Zoo Tycoon 2. So if dinosaurs existed , you would be saying the same ♥♥♥♥ when Jurassic World Evolution has announced? You are honestly just a SJW.

so you want to come on a game forum and complain about a game??

maybe you should go to a different forum where you can talk about actual zoos and not a digital thing

Its a game, unclench your butt and chill out. You don't need to spew your sense of morality on everyone like the kid from the exorcist.

Do you wanna be put on the poachers list or under the protection of the zoo and let the researchers at the zoos, in particular like the San Diego Zoo, attempt to find ways to bring populations back.

Ok I think this has gone on long enough.

It's just a game, maybe take the political argument on real world zoos somewhere more appropriate.
