Ok, say you survived the previous bug on the mission, the one where not all the required engineers are in the world map. Next one will get you:
Apparently only said engineers can upgrade the MIDAS machine, the step with a "180" counter. One session from an engineer increases the counter by 50, draining half of the intelligence of the engineer. Here lies the problem: they don't recover intelligence, and no one is substituting the ones that already performed the task.
Result? I'm stuck with 100/180

This bug was posted in April. It is now July and I have just got the same bug. I did not realise it was a bug but more something I had not spotted so did all the up-grades to the liar, minions etc - even built another liar close to the activation site... I would have thought it would have been fixed by now !!!!

Sorry to hear you've run into this problem! We thought this was all patched up, so this is news to us. Would it be possible to get a save from you via our support terminal at {LINK REMOVED}https://support.rebellion.com/hc/en-gb?

One way to get around this is to load an earlier save where the engineers have just arrived, make sure that the engineers don't have any other furniture that that could drain their stats by selling it off, and allowing them to repair MIDAS before rebuilding the sold furniture to get back to where you were!
