Both Steam version and Direct Download version are showing the same problem.

Have you played DDLC prior to this error appearing? Have you run any mods?

No, I don't run any mods. I first played which I downloaded from Team Salvato's official link and I was having this problem. So I downloaded the Steam version and still got the same problem. Please see the link below. Thanks.

Same here. After the first run through and restart (with fewer members :)).
Can uninstall/install probably, but I'd prefer to keep the statistics

If you've seen the credits, you have reached the end of the game. This error is 'fake', in which it signifies that monika has deleted all proper game files required to make the game run. This final goodbye note is the last screen in the game, and once you have seen it there is nothing left to do in this run of the game. You are free to delete 'firstrun' in the game folder and select "Yes, delete all existing data" to play the game again and see content you might have missed at this stage.

Or you can Properties->Local Files->Verify for the same effect. Which I just did.

And if all else fails, you can delete the persistent data. On my Windows 8.1, I found it at C:\Users\(your PC account name)\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\DDLC-1454445547
This should completely wipe any save data or anything else the game might remember about previous saves, DDLC website version or Steam version.
