If you hate this game, you hate yourself
There's really no other explanation. If you experience a severe emotional response when exposed to a (fairly well produced) game about picking up women, then you must have some deep psychological issues as it relates to your interactions with the opposite sex.

Irrational reactions are a symptom of a weak and poorly formed psyche.

Go fix your broken♥♥♥♥♥lives and stop whining on this discussion board. Better yet read the book 'No more Mr. Nice Guy' as it's written about sub-humans like you. Or buy the game because you clearly ain't super seducers.

You're aware that Jim Sterling is an incredibly ugly man? (He literally recommends going to a place to meet women, and then says he's never been to one, but thought about doing so a year ago)

These "pick-up artists" are not teaching you how to seduce women, this game is teaching you how bully women until you find one with enough personal issues, insecurities and/or mental health problems to be manipulated by these horrible techniques. Anyone who takes any advice from these scumbags (the self proclaimed pick-up artists) has a very serious and dangerous attitude regarding women.

The game isn't even out yet. The select footage I've seen doesn't show any sort of bullying. You must think women are a very fragile breed if you view them as incapable of defending themselves from these kinds of approaches.

If someone follows these techniques to give them confidence to talk to women, then that's far better than them not talking to women at all. Following a framework, even if it is flawed, will at least give people a base of confidence to work from. And, no, not every woman needs to have personal issues, insecurities or mental problems. You're clearly suffering from a ♥♥♥♥♥/madonna complex. People are complicated and though you may disagree with the exploitative nature of this game, and the community it represents, you are acting small minded and bigoted. It isn't illegal, it isn't bullying, and not every woman who likes it is damaged goods.

I've certainly seen worse games published on Steam.

Your posting history also talks about you having social anxiety, so I have to question how much experience you actually have with talking to women you don't know (mentally unstable or otherwise)?

You could at least read what I wrote. I never once said all women have issues or need to be protected. I implied that the people that use these "pick-up artist" techniques repeatedly, until they find someone vulnerable enough that they will work on, are pathetic. Even in the books published by these people they admit the techniques will fail considerably more than they will succeed.

It's very interesting that you are trying to diagnose mental health problems I may or may not have in the same paragraph that you admit that this game is exploitative.

Quite frankly I'll very happily admit to being biggoted towards a community that tries to normalise♥♥♥♥♥♥ complains about women not being sumissive towards men and thinks that it is acceptable to destroy another person's self-esteem to maintain a relationship. Please do a little more research into this community before you continue defending it, you don't seem to go. "hbomberguy" on youtube has a very informative video on the subject.

Also digging through my posting history is pretty creepy.

Edit: And this book, you told everyone to read, starts with a story of a man feeling like he is entitled to sex because he cleaned the kitchen. If you can't see the absurdity of that sentence and still feel like that the book and the community surrounding it are worth defending, then nothing else I can say will be enough to reason with you.

'Read what I wrote' -- 'I implied'. Did you write it, or imply it? Or am I able to draw my own implications? Subjective =/= Objective.

I never tried to diagnose anything. You made a thread saying you were socially anxious.

The book is a good book. You should probably read more than a page, and stop being so defensive whilst reading it.

You're speaking, and arguing, from a place of ignorance (both in regards to the community you chastise and in regards to your lack of experience and knowledge of women). There are good and bad people anywhere. There is nothing inherently ignoble with making a game that aims to make people better at seduction.

My original theory was that people who hate pick up artists probably have no experience with actually seducing women. You seem to fit the bill. Christ, you can't even read a book written by a non pick up artist that might have some ideas that clash with your current beliefs.

The Youtuber you linked is unattractive, feminine, and has very weak body language. He's getting riled about being called a soy boy. He, too, most likely has no practical knowledge about women.

And for the second time you insult a person's physical appearance in an argument about emotional relationships, fully demonstrating your lack of understanding or self awareness.

Good luck with your big, tough, manly life pal :)

Cheers, fella. One day you'll realise I'm right. Hopefully.

"picking up" women is creepy AF. Women are just any other people, except people treat them the way you treat women. It's not that it's a social simulator, it's that it's not. It's a ♥♥♥♥-first-get-to-know-her-later

You're more likely to hate yourself if you DO approach women like this than if you're shocked by it.

Nice bait.
You don't need self-proclaimed "master seducers" to get along with women.
CueZero Mar 6, 2018 @ 12:00pm
This game surely only appeals to lonely shut-ins who will likely never come into contact with a real woman their entire lives. It's sad but I'm glad there's an option for them now in the form of digital entertainment.

Surely this topic is a bad attempt at trolling though, just like the game itself.
