No co-pilot voice

Simply, i have no co-pilot voice, the symbols on top indicating left/right curve are present but nothing more.
Is this a known issue?

Yes, co-pilot is in the staff and trained (not full)

There's some bug with the co-driver in multiplayer lobbies, i know that

Sometimes the game goes mute mid stage for me so I'm sure this is also an audio bug similar to that one

I have no co-driver throughout the entire stage, until the very last 2 turns, at this point he pipes up, makes me jump and I generally make an error. Bit rum releasing a rally sim with no co-driver or is he just having a bad time at home, swear I hear the odd sobbing or is that me as I career down an unknown course with no help what so sodding ever? Not so sure DR2 was ready for release, having waded through 85 pages of woe trying to find my issues amongst the plethora of others. How do big companies ♥♥♥♥ things up so consistently? Shoddy to say the least, shame, as it appears rather playable but alas for many is not.

Do you have him turned on in your preferences? There is an option for the flags only, no co-driver voice.

Hold on , I'll start the game and look. It should be under hud options if I remember correctly.

My mistake, I was going from memory. It appears you can only turn the on screen displays on and off not the co-driver. apologies.

You're call. If you want to explore a couple more options, if your speech volume is turned all the way down it will not play and your audio output options, specifically 7.1, may be affecting it.

Nothing to do with hardware or volume, if you read my post, co-driver starts right at the very end of every stage, pipes up for the last 2 turns. Makes it all kinda difficult when you have little idea where you're going. Gonna uninstall and d/l again in the hope it fixes itself, my belief is I'm wasting my time and it's a Codies coding issue. Lot of money to spend to have to sit out driving until a patch sometime in the future. Have played with all speech options available, like one, on/off and my sound is set to headphones, as that is what I use.

I've reinstalled too ... the co-driver was back.
But some hours later when i came back in DR2 co-driver was gone again .....

Well uninstalled/reinstalled and still the co-driver is AWOL, did find a work around but bit of a pain, I found that if I stream to my TV the co-driver pipes up from over there, no sound for me driving at all but perfect sounds via TV over tother side of room, sounds like he's calling the notes from a car overtaking me, most strange. Anyone piped up at Codies and hinted at when we might be able to use the £70 of software that we purchased?

Its 21 april and i still have this problem. Can anyone provide a fix or do i need to learn to drive without the copilot?

The sound balance of this game is far from perfect... really far from Codemasters has been able to do really well in the past !
It’s a total disappointment here..!
