steering force default
Hi
You can change in hardware_settings_config.xml in documents/My Games the following line....wheelVibrationScale="1.0" for wheelVibrationScale="10.0" and vibration will up
DRTDXBOX
A) Bugged
B) worthless by design
I really hope it's option A.
It gives just SAT (self aligning torque) and general steering resistance. Everything else is pretty much dead. Hitting bumps, almost nothing. Landing from jumps, almost nothing. Road texture... nothing. Dirt Rally was MILES ahead, in terms of FFB....lot more detail and road feel.
if this is the intended FFB, the "community early testers" who gave a green light to this mess, must have been all amptuees, with no arms
Go to steamapps/common/dirtrally2.0/input/devices and open "device_defines" with notepad and you should see this :

For my T300 i found the following line and changed the default "ffb_force=0.9" to a collosall "ffb_force=8.0"
Yes, 8.0
Some of the wheels you guys have may not be listed with the line "ffb_force", maybe you have to add it ???
And these are my in game settings :

Give it a tr. For me there is definately more feeling of gravel etc through the wheel, it does need a bit of fine tuning though
