i mean
it seems to have limited my fps to 30
whatever i do with the Image Settings

Probably because 60 fps is an optimal minimum.

Tried turning off VSync in the game visual settings? It locked my FPS to 30 until I did that.

I found a solution for it on Linux. The game is limitet to 30fps if the game thinks you use a battery. there is a ini file you can change this.

It's a .txt-file :) Note, that the path I mentioned in that link will be different on Windows. Anyway, what you might be looking for is the "OnBatteryFramerateLimit"-setting in the "options.txt". By it's name I'd think it only applies when on battery, but apparently it can also apply on desktops (without battery obv).
