Encouragement for expansion DLC
I am quite impressed with how small this title is. I'm just leaving a note here to encourage you to consider making a paid expansion. You already have the base game, so the heavy lifting is mostly done. Here are ideas for a paid expansion (heck make it the same price as the base game):

+More enemies
+Alt playable characters (there are a ton of ideas to differentiate them)
+Alt floor patterns or even branching dungeon paths
+More lore
+More difficulty modes
+More Achievements

Just food for thought. Anyways thank you for making a really fresh game.

Best,

Hi Ryan Dorkoski!

First of all thank you for the support, for the kind words about the game, for all the encouragement and for taking the time and energy to post your ideas :) I really appreciate it!

I've been working on a bigger content update for months now on and off and hinted about it in the announcements, but sadly it is still WIP at the moment :|
I considered most of what you listed already and some of it will find its way into the game eventually, although I'm still torn about the monetization of these additions.
You see, so far all the extras I added to the game were in the form of free updates and I really want to keep it that way so players who previously bought I Am Overburdened get all the goodies ;) , but on the other hand making most of these new features and content took (and will still take) a lot of work so I'm also on the fence with this.
I will consider other options too, like increasing the base price by a buck or two instead of releasing it as an extra paid DLC, but I will sort this all out once I finished the whole thing...

Until then good luck in the dungeons and thanks again for everything.
Cheers!

Well another sort of alternative idea you could consider is giving players all the content for free, and either selling the soundtrack, or a 'buy the dev a coffee' option for a few bucks. I think Hero Siege did this at some point, among other devs. No biggie either way, but if money helps you continue developement than it might be something to consider.

Either way thanks for the kind words :)

I've been having a ton of fun with this game, I picked it up recently and I'm hooked. I would be absolutely fine if the DLC had a cost. The game is very cheap as it is, and Devs shouldn't be working for free.
